Now more than ever

As a first generation Ukrainian, I grew up on this food. There were no recipes, just watching in the kitchen. But after living with nonUkrainians my recipes weren’t all that accurate. These set up for success

Perfect

ISome recipes I already knew, but there were plenty of new ones. I love how easy and simple it is written, hoping to pass it along to my children, so they know their heritage.

Good book, good food

Great book

While this book had some “odd” ingredients, you have to remember this is a completely different country with different ways and ingredients for cooking with. But the book was colourful and well written and explained. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it from cover to cover. And still pick it up from time to time just to browse the recipes. Maybe I will even cook something from it, eventually. Thoroughly recommend this book.

Authentic

I really appreciate this journey through Ukrainian cuisine which most people aren’t aware of. Funny enough I really love the salads section!
I’ve made a few things and they’re great.
